CHANGE: A Constant Process
From the "CHANGE" series, comes another one of my work which is titled "Growth II". As the name implies, Growth is the act or process of growing. Movement or progress cannot be achieve without changes. As time goes by, changes will continue to occur. Change is a necessary tool for anything to developed.
As an artist, am always in that process of continuous or progressive growth. Whether it start with a thought or an idea, creating them will demand that these thought or ideas will go through the process of various stages of development. Hence for this reason, Change is never constant but is always on the move. For this work the medium used is my best medium. I used oil and I painted it on canvas.

CHANGE: A Constant Process
Just finished up some works. Drawings to be precise. The theme"CHANGE :a constant process". It is said that the only thing constant in life is change. Change is seen in every aspect of life. How the world looked in the past is not what it is now in the present and it is not what it will be in the future.
My drawings which are inspired by Mother Nature seek to express my representations (in abstract) the different process of change ,that is Birth and Growth, that is seen in everyday life.
My medium comprises of pencil, charcoal and pastel. For this project I decided to limit my colours to white, grey and black. I just couldn't resist the urge to explore with this particular colour scheme.

Udala, pastel work
Every last quater of the year to the first quarter of the following year, this particular fruit tend to be in season. It is mainly found in the lower region of Nigeria. It is a native fruit that goes by different names. In my language ,Ibo , which is spoken in the eastern part of Nigeria, the name it is called is "UDALA". From the western part of Nigeria, in Yoruba language it is called "AGBALUMO"
I've always wanted to do a painting on our native fruit so I took the opportunity this season to do a still life on "UDALA.
I've always believe in the saying that goes thus" charity begins at home" and that is my message behind my kind of still life art
